Situación de los manglares de la ciudad de Guayaquil - provincia del Guayas - Ecuador

    La presente investigación trata acerca de los manglares en la ciudad de Guayaquil, donde se menciona conceptos específicos y la importancia de estas reservas en la ciudad. El manglar es un ecosistema marino-costero ubicado en costas tropicales y subtropicales del planeta, en el cual la especie fundamental es el mangle conformado por una gran variedad de árboles.

    El objetivo de la investigación es dar a conocer a sus lectores la problemática existente en los manglares, ya que dentro de ellos existen una gran biodiversidad en cuanto a su flora y fauna con un alto nivel de productividad primaria que generan la utilización de recursos para poder llevar a cabo acciones que brindan bienestar tanto a la comunidad y a su entorno. Pero, así como existen problemas con estos ecosistemas, también existen organizaciones interesadas en la protección y sostenibilidad de los Manglares ecuatorianos y a nivel mundial, por la cual algunos gobiernos decidieron realizar y ejecutar proyectos para la mejoría y conservación de la flora y fauna y al mismo tiempo incentivar el turismo, para de esta manera generar un incremento en la economía del país.

    Para el siguiente análisis se utilizaron diversos medios oficiales como son los documentos publicados por el Ministerio del Ambiente, Sistema Nacional de Áreas Protegidas del Ecuador, donde se detallan y sustentan por medio de proyectos y resoluciones apoyados por la Municipalidad de Guayaquil.

    The present investigation deals about the mangroves in the city of Guayaquil, where the specific concept and the importance of these reserves in the city is mentioned. The mangrove is a marine-coastal ecosystem located on tropical and subtropical coasts of the planet, in which the fundamental species is the mangrove formed by a great variety of trees.

    The objective of the research is to inform its readers about the problems existing in human beings, that within them there is great biodiversity of flora and fauna with a high level of primary productivity that generate the use of resources to be able to carry out actions that provide welfare to the community and its environment. But just as there are problems with these ecosystems, there are also organizations interested in the protection and sustainability of the Ecuadorian Mangroves and worldwide, by which some governments decided to carry out and execute projects for the improvement and conservation of flora and fauna and at the same time encourage tourism, in order to generate an increase in the economy of the country.

    For the following analysis, various official media were used, such as the documents published by the Ministry of the Environment, the National System of Protected Areas of Ecuador, where they are provided and supported by means of projects and resolutions supported by the Municipality of Guayaquil.
