El Proyecto Newton se encarga del fomento de la resolución de problemas en las aulas y surge en Canarias tras las necesidades matemáticas detectadas en el informe realizado por el Consejo Escolar de Canarias. En este trabajo se exponen las líneas generales de actuación que sigue el desarrollo de este proyecto.

Newton’s Project deals with the promotion of problem solving in the classrooms that emerged in the Canary Islands after the mathematical needs identified in the report made by the School Council of the Canary Islands. In this work, the general lines of action followed by the development of this project are presented.
