These effects negatively impact patients’ quality of life and can even make it necessary to suspend treatment. Cutaneous immune-related adverse events such as exanthema, pruritus and vitiligo represent the most common manifestations in patients treated with these new drugs.
It is therefore extremely important recognizing and managing these reactions, to avoid the unjustified withdrawal of therapy. In this review article, we analyze cutaneous adverse events of melanoma immunotherapy and its therapeutic management.
