Resumen de Sobre o bem comum como cerne do pensamento político de Francisco Suárez referente o problema de resistência ao governo tirânico

This article has the intention of showing some elements which correspond to the task of resistance to tyranny, put forth by the political thinking of Francisco Suárez S.J (1548- 1617). We concentrated on what had to do with his critical posture, which foments the possibility of civil resistance to the practice of tyranny in the acts of governing. In his argumentation, Suárez presents a series of complex ethical-political ponderations about the axiom of the common good. The focus given is that we consider as fundamental the notion of civil resistance to the tyrant which is found in chapter IV in book VI of his work Defensio Fidei. Thus, we discourse about the nucleus of the defense of the Catholic faith as the central questioning in the criticism woven by Suárez, which calls to the act of resisting with justification the acts of tyrannical governing. Therefore, we have as an implication, the need to compare the legitimacy of the tyrannicide act against a tyrannical government which holds a legitimate title, given the fact that this one has a bad governing person. This means that we have yet to investigate the arguments of Suárez about the act of tyrannicide against a tyrannical and usurper government which does not hold a legitimate title of government.
Finally, we synthesize these arguments of Suárez when he problematizes the legitimacy of the community to rebel, consummating the death of the tyrant in favor of the common good.

Este artigo tem a intenção de mostrar alguns elementos que correspondem a tarefa de resistência à tirania, propugnada pelo pensamento político de Francisco Suárez S.J (1548-1617). Concentramo-nos no que diz respeito a sua postura crítica, que fomenta a possibilidade de resistência civil a prática da tirania nos atos de governar. Em sua argumentação, Suárez expõe uma série de complexas ponderações ético-políticas em torno do axioma do bem comum. O enfoque dado é o de considerarmos como fundamental a noção de resistência civil ao tirano encontrada no capítulo IV do livro VI de sua obra Defensio Fidei. Assim, discorremos sobre o núcleo de defesa da fé católica como indagação central na crítica tecida por Suárez, que conclama ao ato de resistir justificadamente aos atos de governança tirânica. Logo, temos como implicação a necessidade de cotejar a legitimidade do ato tiranicida contra o governo tirano que detém legítimo título, tendo em vista o dado de este ser um mal governante. Isso significa que, temos ainda de investigar os argumentos de Suárez sobre o ato de tiranicídio contra o governo tirano e usurpador, que não detém legítimo título de governante. Por fim, sintetizamos estes argumentos de Suárez, quando ele problematiza a legitimidade de a comunidade se rebelar, e consumar a morte do governante tirano em favor do bem comum.
