La complejidad de las colecciones que se conservan dentro de los depósitos de la Biblioteca Nacional hace que sigan siendo necesarias las recomendaciones para facilitar que el investigador llegue a encontrar los documentos que busca. A lo largo de este artículo se intenta describir el fondo que tiene como materia fundamental el turismo a través de una clasificación que atiende las fechas y lugar de su producción, al área geográfica que describe o de la que ofrece información, al responsable de su realización y al tipo de documento y de esta manera facilitar la identificación y acceso al mismo.

The great variety of the collection that the National Library conserve in their deposits makes that still being necessary to give recommendations to make easier the consult of the documents. This article try to describe the touristic documentary collection with a classification based in four points: date and place of edition, described place, author of the document and kind of document. That division try to facilitate the identififation and the access to the collections.
