  • This article discusses research by theoretical physicist Stephen Adler into the role played by dark matter in the dynamics of the solar system. Discrepancies between the mass of the moon and the earth and the amount of gravitational pull that they exert on one another are considered as evidence of the presence of dark matter between these two bodies. The implications of this information for the analysis of gas giant planets such as Jupiter are also noted. INSET: Paparazzi Physics.
