    Desde la propuesta de una vanguardia 'dialógica' o literatura carnavalizada (Bajtín) se esbozan dos diálogos genealógicos de Juan Emar con el vanguardismo hispanoamericano. En El pájaro verde el hallazgo de un intertexto de la música popular folklórica; esto es, su diálogo con la tradición del Criollismo, permite su vinculación con la Antropofagia de la vanguardia brasilera y, por ende, con rasgos del barroco hispanoamericano. En Umbral, las diversas modulaciones del ideologema de obra total revelan su parentesco con la tradición de texto total de la vanguardia argentina y, en particular, con el debate sobre el 'caso Wagner'. Ambos diálogos le permiten al autor realizar una lectura crítica del nacionalismo esencialista que prima en la tradición artística nacional

    From the approach of a 'dialogical' vanguard (Bajtin) or carnavalizada literature (Bakhtin) two genealogical dialogues are outlined with the Hispano-American avant-garde. In The Green Bird, the finding of an intertext of national folk music; that is, its dialogue with the Criollism allows its connection with the Anthropophagy of the Brazilian avant-garde and, therefore, features of the Spanish-American baroque At Umbral, the various modulations of the total work ideology reveal their kinship with the total text tradition of the Argentine avant-garde and in particular with the debate on the 'Wagner case'. Both dialogues will allow the author to make a critical reading of the ontological nationalism that excels in the national artistic tradition
