Resumen de Mujeres en el fomento de las energías renovables

  Hoy en día, la participación de las mujeres en el sector energético es cada vez más reconocida. Sin embargo, muchas veces son discriminadas, tienen acceso limitado a la toma de decisiones en diversas temáticas y sobre todo no se les proporcionan las mismas oportunidades en el ámbito laboral (Moran, s/f). Por el contrario, los hombres siguen predominando este sector, por lo que aún existen grandes brechas que superar para lograr equidad de género en el sector de la energía. A pesar de lo anterior, existen mujeres que han logrado superar las barreras que el entorno social, laboral y educativo usualmente representan, y trabajan en una de las áreas mayormente representadas por hombres, el de las ingenierías.

  En el presente trabajo se muestra y analiza la participación de las mujeres en el desarrollo tecnológico de sistemas energéticos renovables dirigidos a zonas rurales principalmente del estado de Chiapas. Esto con el fin de dar a conocer los dispositivos creados por ellas, los cuales han brindado una mejor calidad de vida gracias a su implementación masiva.

  Nowadays, the participation of the women in theenergy sector is more recognized. Nevertheless, often they are discriminated, they have access limited to the decision making in diverse subject-matters and especially the same opportunities are not provided to them in the labor ambience (Moran, s/f). On the contrary, the men keep on predominating over this sector, therefore barriers still exist to be overcome to achieve genre equity in the energy sector. In spite of previously described, there exist women who have managed to overcome the barriers tha tthe social, labor and educational environment usually represent, and they are employed at one of the areas mainly represented by men, that of the engineerings. In the present work it appears and analyzes the participation of the women in the technological development of renewable energy systems directed to rural areas principally of the Chiapas state. This in order to show the devices created by them, which have helped to improve the quality of life thanks to its massive implementation.
