    Los bosques son considerados reguladores del cambio climático, porque entre otros recursos, generan gran cantidad de biomasa forestal la cual puede ser empleada como sustituta de los combustibles fósiles en la producción de bienes y servicios. Además, en el bosque encontramos plantas con potencialidades melíferas que requieren ser estudiadas para conocer su composición y estructura vegetativa, y poder lograr así, un mejor manejo sin dañar la sostenibilidad del medio ambiente.

    Para determinar el volumen de biomasa disponible en los ecosistemas forestales lo más exacto posible y la magnitud de entrada principal del sistema de producción de miel, investigadores de Pinar del Río y Granma proponen el uso de modelos matemáticos y de gestión económica para el sector apícola. Otro aspecto que afecta las producciones agrícolas es la presencia de nematodos en el suelo, aspecto que se investiga para conocer su comportamiento y posibles alternativas de control, sobre todo en el cultivo de la guayaba. También los científicos han establecido metodologías y procedimientos para realizar estudios de comportamiento de lubricantes a partir de su viscosidad, contenido de agua y punto de inflación, aspectos que permiten crear un criterio objetivo del grado de degradación de dicho producto. De igual forma proponen el uso del catastro digital para la gestión de préstamos de materiales de construcción, principalmente para materiales arcillo arenosos y cerámica roja.

    Otro aspecto estudiado con gran vehemencia por la comunidad científica ha sido la gestión estratégica de costos, la gestión ambiental comunitaria para niños y niñas, las estrategias de formación de especialistas y los programas de educación ambiental.

    The forests are considered regulators of the climatic change, because among other resources, they generate great quantity of forest biomass which can be an employee as substitute of the fossil fuels in the production of goods and services. Another aspect that affects the agricultural productions is the presence of nematodes in the floor, aspect that is investigated to know its behavior and possible control alternatives, mainly in the cultivation of the guava. The scientists have also established methodologies and procedures to carry out behavior studies of lubricant starting from their viscosity, content of water and inflation point, aspects that allow to create an objective approach of the degree of degradation of this product. Of equal it forms they propose the use of the digital cadaster for the administration of loans of construction materials, mainly for material sandy arcillo and red ceramic.     Another aspect studied with great vehemence by the scientific community has been the strategic administration of costs, the community environmental administration for children and girls, the strategies of specialists' formation and the programs of environmental education.
