    Cada día en la industria de la construcción se realizan y difunden estudios enmarcados en el progreso tecnológico, generándose nuevas alternativas de sus productos y procesos. Para sumar conocimiento y clarificar ideas, resulta importante que estos especialistas se mantengan actualizados sobre lo que se hizo y se hace ahora. La alternativa más factible en este sentido es acceder a la gran cantidad de información disponible en internet; pero no todo lo que se publica es fiable y útil. En muchos casos las búsquedas son ineficaces debido al desconocimiento de herramientas para conseguir buenos materiales o por inexperiencia de los criterios básicos para su selección. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo presentar varias herramientas que facilitan la búsqueda y recuperación de información de calidad y validez científica, algunas especializadas en el área de la construcción. Mediante su empleo, estos profesionales ahorran tiempo y obtienen mejores resultados en su proceso investigativo.

    Every day in the construction industry are carried out and diffused studies framed in the technological progress, generating new alternatives of their products and processes. To add knowledge and clarify ideas, it is important that these specialists keep up to date on what was done and done now. The most feasible alternative in this regard is access to the large amount of information available on the internet; but not everything that is published is reliable and useful. In many cases the searches are ineffective due to the lack of tools to obtain good materials or inexperience of the basic criteria for their selection. This research aims to present several tools that facilitate the search and retrieval of quality information and scientific validity, some specialized in the area of construction. Through their use, these professionals save time and obtain better results in their investigative process.
