  El amplio campo de la comunicación no verbal se desarrolló con carácter inter- y multidisciplinar gracias a estudios y reuniones que justifican la presente definición de comunicación no verbal, interacción y conversación y la identificación (ilustrando siempre con citas literarias) de: los componentes, funciones e interrelaciones de la triple estructura del discurso oral y sus cosistemas de signos corporales en el marco de un entorno físico; las múltiples manifestaciones y calificadores del paralenguaje, de la kinésica y de los silencios interactivos, evitando su frecuente simplificación; y, considerando todo ello, la verdadera transcripción realista de una interacción.

  The wide field of nonverbal communication developed in an inter- and multidisciplinary fashion thanks to studies and meetings which justify the present definitions of nonverbal communication, interaction and conversation, as well as the identification (always illustrated with literary quotations) of: the components of the basic triple structure of oral speech, their functions and interrelations and their bodily sign co-systems in the frame of a physical environment; the multiple manifestations and qualifiers of paralanguage, kinesics and interactive silences, avoiding their frequent simplification; and, considering all this, the realistic transcription of an interaction.
