Resumen de Toma de Vista: la Imagen en la Era Visual

  Los dispositivos de registro y mediación digital y la red, nos ofrecen nuevas tomas de vista que generan tensiones entre arte e imagen. Nos preguntamos ¿cuál es la imagen en la era visual? La información, los datos, pueden ser una respuesta válida. Empezamos el relato, a fin de realizar una arqueología de los medios, en parte de las prácticas artísticas electrográficas de los años 70 a los 90 para contextualizar su naturaleza, su forma y con ello establecer el “dato” como materia prima para la creación de la imagen.

  The digital recording and mediation devices and the network, offer us new insights that generate tensions between art and image. We wonder ¿what is the image in the visual era? Information and data might be an acceptable answer. We began this story in order to carry out a media archaeology, in part due to the electrographic art practices from the 1970s to 1990s, to put its nature and its form into context and, therefore, establish the ‘data’ as raw material for the image creation.
