Resumen de El Museo de Málaga: un ejemplo de planificación museística

  El palacio de la Aduana de Málaga ha sido rehabilitado y adaptado para acoger al Museo de Málaga. Durante más de diez años, las administraciones titular y gestora del museo, creado en 1973, por la unión de los prexistentes de Arqueología y Bellas Artes, han trabajado para lograr una sede estable, única y adecuada a las necesidades de un museo del siglo xxi, cuyo mayor hito es reunir, por fin, ambas colecciones en un mismo edificio y bajo un discurso expositivo que narra su origen y formación. El objeto del presente artículo es describir el proceso de creación de esta infraestructura desde la fase de planificación a la de ejecución, así como las diversas incidencias acaecidas y los resultados obtenidos.

  The Aduana Palace of Málaga has been renovated and adapted to receive the Museum of Malaga. For over ten years, the owner and manager administrations of the museum, created in 1973 by the union of preexisting archeology and fine arts museums, have worked to achieve a stable, unique and appropriate building, based on the needs of a today museum, whose major milestone is gathering, finally, both collections in the same building and under an expository speech that narrates its origin and formation of their collection. The purpose of this article is to describe the process of creating this infrastructure, from the planning stage to implementation, as well as the various incidents that happened, and the results obtained.
