  • The article presents the study on shark evolution conducted by American Museum of Natural History paleontologist John Maisey and colleagues. It states that researchers used a computed tomography (CT) scanner to evaluate the fossil of ancient fish called Doliodus problematicus. It mentions that the CT technology revealed the shark like jaws and tooth arrangements of the ancient fish.
