  • The article reports on the existence of insecticide-resistant lice. Topics discussed the factors which the resilience of lice against anti-parasitic agent pyrethroids which initially worked efficiently when it was released in the market, and notes the research study which revealed that the lice developed resistance against chemicals through evolution, after sustaining exposure to chemicals. Also mentioned are the approaches being developed to prevent lice infestations.
