  • The article offers information on the amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Noted is the result of a research study which reveal that changes in any of many different human genes may increase the chances that a person will develop ALS, and mentions the promising prospect of gene silencing as a potential treatment option for ALS and continual development of early detection methods to prevent ALS progression.
