The article informs that the first scientific study of the hunt of a crashed Malaysia Airlines Flight in 2014 has revealed a little-explored region of great topographic complexity in the Southeastern Indian Ocean. According to lead study author and marine geoscientist Kim Picard, the geographical is unprecedented in terms of the magnitude revealed part of largely unexplored deep ocean floor.
