  • The article focuses on detection of consciousness through zapping up the brain with magnetic pulses while measuring electrical activity. Topics include development of the electroencephalogram (EEG) by German psychiatrist Hans Berger for uncovering the link between subjective phenomena and objective brain activity, magnetoencephalography (MEG) for measuring dynamics of blood flowing inside the brain and inferring consciousness with complete accuracy using perturbational complexity index (PCI).
