    Arkema has completed a 20% expansion of its plant in Calvert City, in the US state of Kentucky, to serve growth in the country’s domestic fluoropolymer end-markets.

    The France-headquartered company produces speciality chemicals and advanced materials. It announced on April 25 that it has expanded its capacity for its Kynar-branded polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) products, which have applications in piping, coatings, batteries and wiring.
