    El presente artículo pretende explicar la evolución histórica de la Capilla de Nuestra Señora de la Fuente de Villalonga (Valencia), un edificio religioso que se ha construido dos veces: la primera entre 1719 y 1744, y la segunda entre 1880 y 1884, y que se levantó gracias al empeño y las aportaciones de los devotos del pueblo. A lo largo de estas líneas se analiza la historia de la capilla, haciendo hincapié en los cambios sufridos, en sus diversos ornamentos y en la iconografía que sirve o ha servido de marco a una de las imágenes devocionales más pequeñas de la Archid iócesis de Valencia

    This article pretends to explain the historic evolution of the Chapel of Our Lady of the Fountain in Villalonga (Valencia), a religious building that has been built twice: the first time between 1719 and 1744, and the second one between 1880 and 1884, being raised thanks to the effort and contributions of the devotees of the town. Along these lines the history of the chapel is an alyzed, emphasizing the changes suffered, in its various ornaments and in the iconography that serves or has served as a framework for one of the smallest devotional images of the Archdiocese of Valencia.
