  • Titanium imports into Europe were up by more than 300% year on year in the first quarter, according to customs data.

    European titanium dioxide imports are running at an unprecedented pace, with huge volumes coming from China and the United States in particular, according to recent customs data.

    The European Union imported 124,335 tonnes of titanium dioxide pigment (under HS code 32061100) in the first quarter of 2018, according to EU data, up from 29,462 tonnes a year earlier - an increase of 321%.
