El presente artículo destaca el potencial desarrollador del contenido de la Semiología en la formación integral del Psicólogo, perteneciente a la asignatura de Psicopatología general, impartida en el primer semestre del cuarto año de la carrera. Se analizan los componentes didácticos del tema Estudio de la Semiología: objetivo, método, medios, contenido y evaluación. Se establece la ejemplificación del tratamiento al contenido abordando las definiciones esenciales de la Semiología imprescindible para la asimilación del contenido.

The article makes emphasis on the developmental potentials of the content of Semiology in the comprehensive training of psychologists. The content belongs to the subject General Psychopathology taught in the first term of the fourth year of the specialty. There are analyzed the didactic components of the theme The Study of Semiology, as objective, methods, means, content and assessment. The exemplification of the content treatment is established by dealing with the main definitions of Semiology, indispensable for the content assimilation.
