  • Resumen
    • Another week, another study casting doubt on antidepressants. This one says that for children and teenagers with major depression, 13 of the 14 drugs analyzed don't work. Previous research suggests that for adults too, the Prozac class of antidepressants--selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors--is no better than a placebo, at least for people with mild or moderate depression. Confusingly, other research finds these drugs do work for adults with major depression. Here, Wilson talks about the risks and benefits of antidepressants.
