This month, I’d like to remind you about our latest ‘Call for papers’ (see opposite). The Structural Engineer is planning a special issue devoted to ‘Future trends in structural engineering’ in which we hope to explore how the profession is likely to develop over the next 20 years or so – a period that will likely see change on a dramatic scale.
Whether your interest is new materials and construction techniques; digital tools and data-centric processes; sustainability and changing requirements for structures; or evolving business and design practices, we’d like to hear from you.
