  • The article presents a discussion of the near-Earth asteroid 2009 DD45, which passed within 72,200 kilometers (km) of Earth on March 2, 2009. The similarity in size between 2009 DD45 and the asteroid that produced the 1908 explosion in Tunguska, Siberia is mentioned, noting that 2009 DD45 measures approximately 35 meters (m) in diameter.
