  • The article reports the discovery that Neanderthal behavior was similar to that of early modern humans. The discovery by paleoanthropologist Bruce Hardy of Kenyon College that tool usage was similar among Neanderthals and early modern humans is noted, remarking that Neanderthals most likely had a smaller range of tools due to the functionality of the ones they had developed.
