  • Resumen
    • The article states that doctors who prescribe medications electronically are more likely to select generic pharmaceuticals than brand-name ones. This derives from a study of Massachusetts physicians in which it was found that an electronic format for prescription boosted the popularity of generics from 55% to 61%. A control group of physicians who were not taught how to prescribe medications electronically were less inclined to prescribe generic drugs.
