  • Women with heart disease tend to have worse symptoms and are more likely to die from it than men. Until now, it has been hard to distinguish whether this might be due to differences in biology or lifestyle. Colleen Norris at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada and her colleagues have now followed the progress of about a thousand people in Canada to investigate.
