  • The article offers information on rivers which contributes greatly in the pollution of water bodies such as the of Pearl in China, Brahmaputra, Asia and Mekong, Asia. Topics discussed include views of Christian Schmidt, a hydrogeologist at the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research, on sea pollution; information regarding weight of plastic flowing into the sea; and need for appropriate waste collection and management practices.
