This paper presents the results of a Master's thesis research in Science and Mathematics Teaching, which sought to approach the content of pyramids through a generative problem, for the introduction of this content, with students from three classes of the third Year of the High School of a state public school. The aim of this study was to analyze the mobilization of the Semiotic Representation Registers from the trunk of the pyramid with the use of 3D Geogebra, through activities that take into account the previous knowledge of the student, the use of manipulative material and the use of software of Dynamic geometry. This qualitative and exploratory research was based on Duval's Theory of Semiotic Representation Registers. The analysis of the records showed that the proposed activities contributed to revise basic concepts of geometry, to construct and understand new concepts in a more attractive way, stimulating the visualization of the object in different forms of representation and learning.
