  • The article discusses DNA computers, which would use biological organisms, rather than mechanical parts, to process data. While biological computers are not capable of the speed of their mechanical counterparts, their strength lies in the ability to implant biological computers within a living organism. Possible applications include computer doctors that heal individuals from the inside.
