  • The article reports that, in spite of claims to the contrary, portions of the NASA budget have been cut to fund the Crew Exploration Vehicle. NASA administrator Michael Griffin told Congress that programs like the Europa orbiter and a space-based gravitational-wave observatory would have their funding cut to move up the launch of the Crew Exploration Vehicle.
