Repositório temático na área de saúde mental: a contribuição brasileira em acesso livre

    O Repositório Temático, tal como definido na literatura da área, corresponde um conjunto de objetos digitais limitado a um tema ou um campo disciplinar específico. Apesar de o primeiro Repositório Temático - RT (arXiv) ter surgido ainda nos anos 1990 e ter alcançado grande visibilidade e credibilidade, o interesse e implementação de RT ainda é incipiente no Brasil. No que tange à temática de Saúde Mental, é reconhecida a sub-representação da produção de conhecimento em periódicos científicos, especialmente nos países em desenvolvimento, ainda que a temática seja de preocupação crescente no âmbito das políticas públicas de saúde. Do melhor do conhecimento disponível, não foi identificado nenhum RT no tema. Dada a importância dessa temática na política de saúde do Brasil nos anos recentes (especialmente com a realização de um amplo programa de formação profissional em saúde no período 2013-2016, o Projeto Caminhos do Cuidado), a organização e o amplo acesso à produção do conhecimento se tornou fundamental. Assim, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo descrever a implementação de um Repositório Temático em Saúde Mental - RTSM. O software escolhido para a implementação foi o Dspace e para o povoamento foram utilizadas diferentes estratégias: a coleta automática dos metadados dos artigos na temática disponíveis na Scientific Electronic Library On-line (SciELO); a segunda envolveu a coleta automática a partir de um repositório institucional - ARCA (Repositório Institucional da Fundação Oswaldo Cruz). A terceira estratégia envolveu advocacy, com a produção cientifica indicada por especialistas.

    Atualmente estão disponíveis 466 objetos digitais, e o trabalho continua em curso. Espera-se que a ampliação e consolidação do RTSM possa, ao propiciar a abertura e acessibilidade desse conhecimento, não só subsidiar políticas públicas mas também servir de apoio à pesquisa na temática no Brasil.

    The Disciplinary or Thematic Repository, as defined in the area literature, should contain a set of digital objects linked to a specific disciplinary field. Although the first Thematic Repository came into in 1991, its implementation is still incipient in Brazil, when compared to the spreading of Institutional Repositories.

    Regarding Mental Health, the underrepresentation of the production of knowledge in scientific journals, especially in developing countries, is recognized, even though the issue is of growing concern in public policies. Particularly, with regard to the scientific production in Mental Health, in free access, no Thematic Repository dedicated to the subject Mental health was found–.. Given the importance of Mental health as public policy in Brazil in recent years (especially with a broad professional health training program in the period 2013-2016), the organization and wide access to knowledge production on the subject has become fundamental. Thus, the present work aims to describe the implementation of a Thematic Repository of Brazilian intellectual production in the area of Mental Health, in order to organize, make available and expand access to it. The software chosen for the implementation of the Repository was the DSpace. The starting point for the construction of the Thematic Repository in Mental Health were the communities: Alcohol and other drugs, Mental Health Policy, Bullying and Suicide. Different strategies were used for the settlement. The first population strategy was the automatic collection of the metadata of the journal articles about the themes available in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), from the Brazil Collection. The second strategy involved the search ofon the subjects available in the different communities and collections of the Repository. The second strategy involved the collection of 100 items from the ARCA (Institutional Repository of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation), and the automated routine for the harvesting of items is in progress. The third strategy involved advocacy, initiated with the project community. Currently there are 466 items in the Thematic Repository It is hoped that the expansion and consolidation of this Thematic Repository could act as a facilitator of access and visibility of national information on the topic and stimulate the construction of National Thematic Repositories in the area of health.
