Resumen de Reto del Hambre Cero: una estrategia de las Naciones Unidas, su relevancia en la agenda mundial y su trascendencia en Colombia

El Reto del Hambre Cero es una estrategia para la erradicación definitiva del hambre en el mundo a partir del efectivo ejercicio del derecho a la alimentación adecuada. Esta es una estrategia que ha sido propiciado por las Naciones Unidas para confrontar el estado de hambruna que aflige a millones de seres humanos. La necesidad de analizar, desde la observación documental, el contenido y naturaleza jurídica de esta estrategia, en el marco del sistema internacional de las Naciones Unidas, radica en comprender su relevancia en la agenda mundial, especialmente en la de los organismos de integración latinoamericanos y en los Estados que han tenido una experiencia particular como son los casos de Brasil y Guatemala. Lo anterior, con el propósito de evaluar la trascendencia de esta estrategia mundial en Colombia al finalizar el término de cumplimiento de los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio (odm), estableciendo así el rezago actual en el que se encuentra el Estado colombiano tras la inexistente integración del Reto del Hambre Cero al ordenamiento jurídico nacional y ante la insuficiencia de herramientas estatales encaminadas a garantizar la observancia del derecho a la alimentación adecuada.

The Zero Hunger Challenge is a strategy for the final hunger eradication in the world based on the effective exercise of the adequate feeding right; which has been advocated by the United Nations to confront the state of famine that afflicts millions of human beings. The need to analyze from the documentary observation the content and legal nature of this strategy in the United Nations international system framework; which lies in understanding its relevance in the global agenda; particularly in the Latin American integration bodies, and in the States, that have had an experience of the Zero Hunger, as in the cases of Brazil and Guatemala. The above, with the purpose of evaluating the significance of this global strategy in Colombia at the end of the Millennium Development Goals fulfilment term (MDG), which allow to set the currently lag in the Colombian State on the matter, and there has been no integration of Zero Hunger Challenge to the national legal system and the inadequacy state tools aimed at ensuring the observance to adequate feeding right.
