  El presente artículo se deriva de la investigación de maestría “Estrategia dinámico-participativa para potenciar la cortesía verbal en jóvenes de la comunidad Los Pirulises del municipio Manatí”. Tiene como objetivo presentar la estrategia elaborada en función de reforzar las expresiones de cortesía en la comunidad seleccionada. Ello requirió un estudio riguroso desde diversos enfoques, teorías y modos de comprender los fundamentos teóricos que sustentan una investigación, para lo cual resultaron significativas las ideas de: Brown y Levinson, Pi, Causse, Santiesteban, Macías y otros investigadores. El aporte de esta estrategia radica en la potenciación de elementos de carácter lingüístico que constituyen expresión de la cortesía verbal en hablantes de 19 a 25 años, lo que permite ajustar su discurso al contexto sociocultural comunitario, seleccionar de manera adecuada los recursos lingüísticos para la interacción verbal, mostrar respeto hacia la imagen social del otro y modelar la conducta verbal de estos jóvenes con fin en su desarrollo cultural. Para su elaboración se realizó un análisis sociocultural de la comunidad, a partir de la metodología del trabajo comunitario, y se describieron los usos lingüísticos de los jóvenes.

  The investigation "Strategy dynamic and participatory to enhance the verbal courtesy in young of the community The Pirulises of the municipality Manatee" whose objective is to elaborate a strategy for the reinforcement of the courtesy expressions, it required a rigorous study from diverse focuses, theories and ways of understanding the theoretical foundations that sustain the investigation, for that which you/they were significant the ideas of: Brown and Levinson, Pi, Causse, Santiesteban, Macías and other investigators. Its contribution lies in the up grading of elements of linguistic character that constitute expression of the verbal courtesy in speaking from 19 to 25 years, what allows to adjust its courteous speech to the community sociocultural context, to select in an appropriate way the linguistic resources for the verbal interaction, to show respect toward the social image of the other one and to model the verbal behavior of these youths with end in its cultural development. For its elaboration was important to make a sociocultural analysis of the community, starting from the methodology of the community work, and the linguistic uses of the youths were described.
