  • The article discusses the nonprofit organization Jerusalem Season of Culture (JSOC) and its efforts to start celebrations for contemporary artwork such as experimental video and performance art in Jerusalem, Israel. A festival will be held from mid-May to the end of July. The organization has faced difficulties in including Palestinian artists and their work in the celebrations, because these artists do not want to acquiesce to Israeli occupation.
