  • In a brief article, the author discusses the work of the New York City-based artist Israel Lund. Particular focus is paid to a series of paintings by Lund that quote works by two seemingly unrelated artists: Daniel Buren and Martin Kippenberger. In both instances, Lund creates paintings that are based on photographs of works by Buren and Kippenberger.
