  • The article focuses on the art culture of Berlin, Germany since the fall of communist countries (Iron Curtain) in 1989. The author suggests that inexpensive but attractive industrial spaces are rented by artists and the city has become an active site for contemporary art production. Several art collectors are profiled, including Rolf and Erika Hoffmann, Christian Boros, and Thomas Olbricht.
