  • The article discusses the architect Jorge Otero-Pailos' artistic project "The Ethics of Dust: Doge's Palace, Venice 2009" at the Arsenale in Venice, Italy. Otero-Pailos used chemically treated latex on an uncleaned wall of the Doge's Palace and allowed it to dry before pulling it free to show grime and pollution that had collected. The project is a part of Daniel Birnbaum's "Making Worlds" exhibition at the Venice Biennale.
