Megan Heuer

  • The article discusses "The Encyclopedic Palace," an architectural project for a proposed museum building conceived in the mid 20th-century by the retired auto mechanic Marino Auriti. The futuristic structure, for which Auriti built an elaborate model, was designed to hold all of the works of humanity in all fields and was envisioned by its designer to be constructed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
