Resumen de REVISION NUMBER FIVE QUALITY.
The article presents the author's views on what he sees as changes for the worse in art criticism over the three decades or so from the 1980s to the 2000s. He laments the shift from independent criticism of art on its merits toward a doctrine of "fairness" (which he interprets as mediocrity) in the arts press, predicated on financial rather than artistic considerations.
