  • The article discusses the defunct U.S. magazine "Arts & Architecture," a decade of which (1945-1954) has been reproduced in a boxed set by the publisher Taschen. The era of architectural modernism in Southern California heralded and influenced by the magazine and its editor John Entenza is discussed, as are the "Case Study Houses" sponsored by the magazine.
