  • The article examines the life and work of the contemporary artist Doris Salcedo. Topics examined include her work in sculpture, how her work explores the theme of human beings assaulted by violence and her artistic techniques. Her retrospective exhibition "Doris Salcedo" at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago in Chicago, Illinois, from February 21-May 24, 2015 is also noted.
