  • The article discusses the planned Miami Art Museum in Miami, Florida, whose design plans were released in October 2009. It notes that director Terence Riley announced his resignation days later, although he will continue to consult to the museum through June 2010. The museum, designed by Herzog & de Meuron, is to be located in the Bicentennial Park on Biscayne Bay. It will pursue a silver Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification and is expected to open in 2013.
