  • The article focuses on a style of painting that employs flat color and geometric forms called Hard-edge painting, a term that was coined by Jules Langsner, former art critic for the periodical "Los Angeles Times." The article discusses artists who paint in this style such as Karl Benjamin, Oli Sihvonen, Sven Lukin and Ward Jackson. The article goes on to discuss the similarity between young painters who create compositions with grids and Pop-Minimalism.
