  • The article reports on plans for U.S. painter Ross Bleckner to be named United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, in recognition of his work with traumatized child refugees in Uganda. The art of some of the children Bleckner worked with is to be on display at the ceremony honoring him in New York City on May 12, 2009.
