  • The article discusses the work of Gutai artist Takesada Matsutani in light of several retrospective exhibitions featuring his art including "Stream" at the Museum of Modern Art in Kamakura, Japan and several exhibitions at the Kaneko Art Gallery and Tsubaki Modern Art Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. The article addresses changes in Matsutani's painting style from the 1960s to the 21st century and discusses materials used in his pieces, including glue and plastic bags.
