  • The article reports that museums across the globe are struggling with aesthetic, legal, and political implications of copying following accurate reproductions of artworks using digital technology. It makes reference to artist Gustave Courbet's painting "The Source" present in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. It informs that 120 casts are employed at the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA) in New York.
