In this article, the author examines advice for artists given by the American artist George Maciunas. Particular focus is given to his daily schedule for artists, which offered advice on work routine, sleeping and propagandizing. Maciunas' 1959 pamphlet "101 Days In Europe: An Expedition to the Significant Monuments of Art and Architecture in Continental Europe" is also discussed.
