Este trabajo muestra los resultados de las experiencias de ABP en la disciplina de Trabajo Social. Se prestó especial atención a cómo estas actividades influyen en la motivación de los estudiantes. Así, al final del periodo lectivo se proporcionó a los alumnos el cuestionario MSLQ. Los resultados indican que existen diferencias significativas en la motivación y la percepción de dicha asignatura por parte de los estudiantes después de aplicar la metodología ABP. Se demuestra cómo el ABP es una herramienta metodológica que nos ofrece el soporte necesario para constituir un aprendizaje activo, cooperativo, motivacional y enfocado al desarrollo de competencias.
This work shows the results of the experiences of PBL within the Social Work field. We put a special focus on how these activities influence on the students motivation. Then, at the end of the academic year the students were given the MSLQ questionnaire. These results denote that there are significant differences in the students´ motivation and perception of this subject after applying the PBL methodology. It is shown how PBL is a methodological tool that provides the required support to create an active, cooperative and motivational learning focused on the development of competences.
